Social Media Intelligence Analyst

As a member of the Physical Security Intelligence team at ZeroFox, you will be responsible for providing ongoing physical security intelligence to clients in a 24x7, 365-day operation. Your role will involve monitoring open source networks for violent activity worldwide to ensure quick and valuable intel for clients" security decisions. It is essential to focus on physical violence rather than information security in this position. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor our collection of intel for valuable information on physical security threats. - Investigate incidents using publicly available information to determine validity and provide contextual understanding. - Compose well-written reports under intense time constraints. - Collaborate effectively with team members. - Work on a shift schedule that may include night shifts or weekends. - Provide ad hoc event and crisis coverage. **Qualifications Required:** - Awareness of general political and social trends domestically and internationally. - Understanding of global trends in violence. - Subject-matter expertise in physical security threats. - Deep knowledge of social media dynamics and communication on various networks. - Ability to learn internal workflows, products, and tools. - Strong written composition and active communication skills. - Capacity to manage multiple assignments daily. - Self-motivated with a desire for growth. - Ability to receive feedback and eagerness to learn. **Desired Skills:** - Experience in conducting OSINT methodology across social media networks. - College degree in a field related to international security, political science, or journalism; or relevant work experience. - Previous experience in journalism or forensics preferred. - Proficiency in at least one additional language besides English, preferably Spanish, Arabic, Russian, or a Chinese language.
