Job Description

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance for L2 and L3 in the SOC team.
Monitor and respond to security events from the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM - Splunk) on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis.
Proactively identify, prevent, and respond to security incidents.
Ensure L3 level incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation, and monitoring.
Manage and coach team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Conduct analysis of malware and manage red and blue team operations.
Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain positive working relationships, including subordinate SOCs.
Manage vendor relationships and offshore SOC teams.
Develop processes to strengthen operational activities and improve governance.
Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process improvements to mitigate threats.
Act as an individual contributor based on business requirements.

Skills Required:

Expertise in Security Operations Centre (SOC) processes and tools.
Hands-on experience with SIEM (Splunk), SOAR platforms, and Cortex.
Knowledge of SOC 1 and SOC 2 standards is a plus.
Strong understanding of malware analysis, incident response, and threat mitigation.
Ability to manage, mentor, and lead technical security teams.
Knowledge of compliance, governance, and SLA management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
