SOC Power Estimation Engineer

As a member of the Power team, you will be involved in cutting-edge power estimation techniques and collaborate with various teams to incorporate system requirements into power estimation methodologies. - Drive pre-silicon power estimation and analysis using power estimation tools at both Register-Transfer Level (RTL) and Netlist level. - Develop methodologies around power estimation tools and implement best practices to enhance power estimation accuracy. - Conduct power estimation and what-if analysis for IPs and subsystems, ensuring alignment with project goals. - Analyze power estimation reports to identify opportunities for power optimization and provide insights for physical and micro-architecture design modifications to reduce power consumption. - Collaborate with the Architecture Design team to establish accurate scenarios and operating conditions for estimating use-case power, reflecting real-world IP usage. - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum 3 years of experience with low power RTL and physical design techniques. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Perl. - Experience in System on a Chip (SoC) architecture, power management architecture, and clocking architecture. - Familiarity with RTL level power estimation/analysis tools. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Strong problem-solving and investigative skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.,
