As a SOC Admin Network Security L2, your role will involve protecting critical systems, addressing security issues, and ensuring a secure network environment. If you are someone who enjoys problem-solving, adapting to new technologies, and thriving in a fast-paced environment, this position is an excellent fit for you. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Firewall Management:** - Set up and manage firewall rules and access policies. - Experience with Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Fortinet firewalls (minimum 4 years). - Ensure that firewalls adhere to all company security standards. - **Network Segmentation:** - Create and manage secure network zones. - Ensure safe and controlled communication between networks. - **Threat Detection & Response:** - Monitor logs for unusual or risky activity. - Respond to security alerts and collaborate with the SOC team to resolve issues. - **Vulnerability Management:** - Identify weaknesses in network and firewall configurations. - Conduct regular audits and implement fixes to maintain system security. - **Compliance & Governance:** - Adhere to regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA. - Keep network and firewall procedure documentation up to date. - **Troubleshooting & Support:** - Resolve firewall and network-related issues. - Provide support for L2-level security concerns. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** - BE / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / BSc (IT or Computer Science related) - **Certifications:** - CCNA - CEH - **Technical Skills Required:** - Experience with Firewalls: Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet (minimum 4 years) - WAF experience with Radware or F5 (minimum 3 years) - Knowledge of API Security: Ammune (preferred) - Familiarity with DDoS Solutions: Akamai, Arbor - Strong understanding of network security concepts and best practices - Good grasp of traffic analysis and log review As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and supportive security team, enhance your skills with cutting-edge tools, and tackle real security challenges.
