Snuggle is building the future of fashion—a sustainable, subscription-based platform that allows users to wear a new outfit everyday for whole month while solving the environmental crisis of fast fashion. We're at the pre-seed stage with a partially built tech stack and a validated business model, and we need a technical leader to take ownership of our engineering roadmap, drive product development, and scale our platform as we launch. What You'll Do Own and lead the complete technical architecture across web and mobile platforms using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) Build and manage a lean development team, setting engineering standards, sprint planning, and code review processes Drive feature development across multiple interconnected platforms—user-facing mobile apps, partner portals, and backend systems Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities for personalization, demand forecasting, and intelligent recommendations to enhance user experience Collaborate directly with the founder to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Make critical technology decisions—cloud infrastructure, security, third-party integrations, and API design Ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and data integrity as we scale from pilot to multi-city operations Who You Are 5+ years of hands-on experience building full stack applications with the MERN stack (React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB) Demonstrated experience or strong enthusiasm for AI/ML integration—whether building recommendation engines, working with LLMs, computer vision, or predictive models Proven ability to lead technical projects end-to-end, from architecture design through deployment and maintenance Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment where you wear multiple hats Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias for action—you ship quickly, iterate based on feedback, and own outcomes Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Bonus: Experience with logistics/operations tech, marketplace platforms, or subscription-based products What We Offer Equity in Snuggle with standard four-year vesting and a one-year cliff, giving you meaningful ownership as a founding team member Tech lead: Direct influence on product vision, technology strategy, and company direction Opportunity to solve a real-world problem at the intersection of sustainability, fashion, and technology Work directly with the founder in a lean, high-impact team where your contributions shape the entire business Flexibility to work remotely with autonomy over your technical decisions and execution Potential to convert equity into life-changing returns as we scale and raise institutional funding Why Snuggle?
