Snowflake with PySpark - Lead

As a skilled Snowflake Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining efficient data solutions on the Snowflake cloud data platform at UST. Your expertise in data engineering, Snowflake, and proficiency in data processing technologies, especially PySpark, will be essential for this role. In this position, your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouses on the Snowflake platform. You will be tasked with ensuring effective utilization of Snowflake features to achieve scalable and high-performance data storage solutions. Your role will also involve developing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines on Snowflake. You will create and maintain ETL workflows to facilitate seamless data processing and transformation. Utilizing PySpark, you will be responsible for advanced data transformations within the Snowflake environment. This will involve implementing data cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong emphasis on Snowflake. Proficiency in Snowflake features and capabilities for data warehousing is essential, along with expertise in PySpark for data processing and analytics. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and efficient data storage will be advantageous. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala for data processing is also required.
