Job Description

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes in Snowflake while integrating with our DevOps workflows to ensure continuous integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Snowflake Development - Primary:

Design, develop, and optimize data models and ETL processes using Snowflake.
Build and maintain Snowflake data pipelines to support data analytics and business intelligence.Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.Strong knowledge in using Snowflake platform for data engineering, and data quality.Strong knowledge in working in AWS Cloud platform components.

Python - Primary:

Strong, working knowledge in Python.

DevOps Integration - Secondary:

Create and manage DevOps templates for deploying various Snowflake services, including:
TasksStreamsStreaming architectureNotificationsExtending existing sandbox templatesDevelop DevOps templates for deploying scripts to legacy Microsoft SQL platforms.Create DevOps templates for the deployment of various AWS services based on stakeholder feedback, including:EMR / SparkELB / ALBLambdaSQSEventBridgeSNS

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Snowflake Developer with hands-on experience in Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
Strong background in DevOps practices and tools.Proficiency in designing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.Expertise in SQL and Snowflake architecture.Experience with DevOps tools and techniques for deployment and automation.Good communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with AWS services and creating DevOps templates for various AWS services.
Knowledge of legacy Microsoft SQL platforms and their integration with DevOps practices.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
