Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS and Snowflake.Implement data transformation workflows using DBT (Data Build Tool).Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code in Python.Optimize and tune data solutions for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.Strong proficiency in AWS and Snowflake.Expertise in DBT and Python programming.
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using
dbt
and
Snowflake
Design and manage models to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets
Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake performance (clustering, partitioning, tuning)
Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions
Ensure data quality with automated testing, validation, and monitoring
Document models, transformations, and pipeline processes clearly
Manage deployments with Git, CI/CD, and dbt automation
Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues proactively
Automate workflows using
Python
and
Bash scripting

Qualifications & Skills

Strong expertise in
SQL, dbt, and Snowflake
Experience with cloud platforms (
AWS, Azure, GCP
) and orchestration tools (
Airflow, Fivetran
)
Proficient in
Python
for automation and data engineering tasks
Solid understanding of data warehousing and modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional collaboration
Proven experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data architectures
