Snowflake Developer

As an experienced candidate for the role, you should have 5+ years of overall experience with at least 3+ years specifically in Snowflake. It is essential that your recent project work has been focused on Snowflake. Additionally, you should possess 2+ years of relevant experience in DBT. Having knowledge in Python, Matillion, and Snowpark would be considered an added advantage. Your key responsibilities in this role will include: - Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging new and existing software systems. - Writing Snowflake SQL queries and developing scripts in Unix, Python, etc. for Extract, Load, and Transform data. - Utilizing various Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Snowpark, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures. - Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concepts, and modeling structure principles. - Applying your experience in Data warehousing including OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling. - Gathering and analyzing system requirements effectively to contribute to the project's success. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams and functioning efficiently in a team environment. Qualifications required for this role: - Solid working knowledge of DBT and Snowflake. - Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI would be beneficial. - Exposure to AWS/Azure Data ecosystem is a plus.
