Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong handson experience in Snowflake as the primary data platform and working knowledge of DBT for data modeling and transformation The ideal candidate will design build and optimize scalable data pipelines that support analytics reporting and datadriven decisionmaking across the organization

Key Responsibilities

Design build and maintain ETLELT pipelines using Snowflake and DBT

Develop and optimize Snowflake data models including warehouse database schema structures tables and views

Build DBT models using best practices for modularity testing and documentation

Implement data ingestion from multiple sources using tools such as Airflow Snowpipe Fivetran or equivalent

Optimize Snowflake performance clustering query optimization warehouse sizing caching

Ensure data quality through unit tests data validation and DBT tests

Collaborate with analytics BI and product teams to understand business data needs

Implement best practices for CICD version control Git and automated deployments for DBT and Snowflake workflows

Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues ensuring high data availability and reliability

Maintain documentation for data models pipelines and system configurations

Required Skills Qualifications

4-7 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar role

Strong handson expertise with Snowflake warehousing databases performance tuning security Snowpipe tasks streams

Proficient in DBT CoreCloud for modeling transformations tests and documentation

Strong SQL skills analytical SQL performance tuning complex queries

Experience with ETLELT orchestration tools Airflow preferred

Good understanding of data modeling concepts StarSnowflake schemas normalization

Experience with cloud platforms AWSGCPAzure and related services

Familiarity with Git CICD pipelines and codefirst data engineering

Understanding of REST APIs and integration patterns

Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
