Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SMT Programmer/Operator to join our team. As an SMT Programmer/Operator, you will be responsible for programming the SMT machines for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and optimize SMT programs for pick-and-place machines (e.g., Fuji, Yamaha, Panasonic, Mycronic, etc.)
Load component libraries and verify footprint accuracy
Perform first article inspection and program verification
Troubleshoot placement issues and improve cycle time and efficiency
Work with SMT setup, feeder assignment.
Read and interpret PCB design files (Gerber, Centroid, BOM)
Maintain documentation and revision control of SMT programs

Preferred candidate profile:

Minimum 13 years experience as an SMT programmer.
Hands-on experience with one or more SMT pick-and-place platforms
Basic understanding of electronics components, Gerber and SMT assembly
Diploma/Degree in Electronics or related field preferred
Knowledge of AOI programming or Printer programming is a bonus
