SMT Engineer - Process, Equipment

As a Process/Equipment Engineer - SMT, you will leverage your 6+ years of experience in maintaining SMT Machines, coupled with a background in BE (EEE/ ECE), to effectively troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment. Your main objective will be to achieve targets aligned with cost, quality, and delivery requirements. You will be responsible for reviewing and determining material, equipment, and manpower needs, while also coordinating maintenance tasks with various functional groups such as engineering and operations. An essential aspect of your role will involve selecting and grooming personnel to ensure smooth departmental operations. Your key responsibilities will include programming and troubleshooting a range of SMT Machines including ASM Paste Printer, SPI, Mounters, Reflow Profiling, Router, Glue Dispensing, and LASER Marking Machines. A solid understanding of PCBA/SMT Machines Process, along with a grasp of industry-standard testing procedures and quality control practices, will be vital. Moreover, you will be expected to possess a strong knowledge of documentation practices, including PM Checklist, Machines WI, and System Procedures. Conducting CP/CPK studies on all SMT machines in line and implementing preventive maintenance as per the PM schedule and procedure will be part of your routine tasks. Furthermore, you will provide guidance to engineers in production operations to enhance efficiency and quality. Additionally, you may be required to perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor to facilitate smooth operations.
