1) Responsible for slitter setting up, operating, and maintaining slitting machines that cut cold-rolled grain & Non grain oriented (CRGO & CRNO) steel into specific widths and lengths according to work orders and material specifications.
2) Understanding on CRGO(CRGO, Electrical steel) core cutting drawing as per end uses i.e. transformer customers and electrical steel grades.
3) Loading and unloading steel coils onto the slitting & Cut to length machine, ensuring proper alignment and safety procedures are followed.
4) Inspecting the slit & CTL coils for dimensional accuracy, surface defects, and other quality CTQ parameters, making adjustments as needed.
5) Identifying and resolving issues related to machine performance, material defects, or other operational problems.
6) Good understanding on 5S, TPM , Kaizen, Quality Management system, QC Story and best manufacturing practices.
7) Working with other team members, such as supervisors and Shift in charge , to improve production processes and resolve issues.
