Position Overview Skybook is hiring a skilled Ticketing Staff to support a leading travel agency based in Zambia through our outsourcing services. The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end ticketing operations using Travelport GDS, ensuring timely and accurate handling of issuance, reissuance, and refunds. This role requires excellent communication skills, adaptability to client working hours, and the ability to deliver high-quality service in a remote, client-facing setup (without direct face-to-face interaction). Key Responsibilities Issue, reissue, and process refunds for air tickets using Travelport GDS. Ensure compliance with airline fare rules, ticketing policies, and refund guidelines. Handle booking queues, schedule changes, and involuntary reissues efficiently. Communicate clearly and professionally with the client (via email, chat, or calls). Resolve discrepancies by liaising with airlines/suppliers where required. Maintain records and prepare periodic reports on issued and refunded tickets. Adapt to client’s time zone (Zambia – CAT) and work schedule. Requirements Hands-on experience with Travelport GDS (minimum 2–3 years). Strong knowledge of air ticketing processes (issuance, reissuance, refunds). Fluent in English (written & spoken); Hindi knowledge is an added advantage.
