Site Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Fire Fighting Project Site Supervisor to manage and supervise fire protection system installation works at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for material procurement coordination, site execution, manpower management, joint measurements, drawing interpretation, and quality inspection to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

Key Roles & Responsibilities Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day fire fighting system installation works including hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm, pump room, and related systems.
• Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, consultants, and contractors at site.

Material Management & Procurement

• Prepare material requirements based on drawings and site conditions.
• Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement of materials.
• Verify material quality, specifications, quantity, and maintain material stock records at site.

Drawing & Technical Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and execute work as per AutoCAD drawings and BOQs.
• Mark layouts on site and guide technicians accordingly.
• Report discrepancies or design issues and suggest site-level solutions.

Measurement & Billing Support

• Take joint measurements with client/consultant representatives.
• Maintain measurement sheets, daily progress reports, and site records.
• Support billing and certification by providing accurate measurements.

Quality Control & Inspection

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
• Ensure installations comply with applicable IS/NBC/Fire Authority norms.
• Rectify snags and non-conformities identified during inspections.

Manpower & Safety Management

• Allocate work to technicians, helpers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor productivity and ensure work completion within target timelines.
• Ensure adherence to safety norms, PPE usage, and safe work practices.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for management.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Support final testing, commissioning, and documentation submission.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Fire Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in fire fighting system installation projects.
• Good knowledge of hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm systems, pumps, and accessories.
• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email, reports).
• Strong site coordination and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
