Site Storekeeper

Job description :

Material Management

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming construction materials.
• Ensure quality and quantity match purchase orders.
• Store materials properly to avoid damage or wastage.

Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate stock registers (manual or digital).
• Track daily issues and balances of cement, steel, tiles, fittings, etc.
• Regularly update inventory and report shortages.

Issuing Materials

• Issue materials to site engineers/supervisors as per indent.
• Record each transaction with proper authorization.
• Prevent unauthorized use of materials.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain inward/outward registers, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN (Material Receipt Note).
• Prepare daily/weekly stock reports for the project manager.
• Assist in reconciliation at project completion.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safe storage (e.g., cement in dry area, steel in open yard with proper supports).
• Follow company and project policies for material handling.
• Maintain fire safety and housekeeping standards in the store.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
