Site Operator

Job Summary:

The Site Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and maintenance of environmental treatment systems and related infrastructure at designated sites. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and safety protocols while contributing to operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor water/wastewater treatment systems, pumping stations, and related equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Collect samples for laboratory testing and perform basic on-site water quality tests.
• Record and report operational data accurately, including flow rates, pressure readings, chemical usage, and equipment performance.
• Respond to alarms, troubleshoot system malfunctions, and escalate issues to supervisors as required.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and company policies.
• Assist in handling, loading/unloading of materials, and inventory management.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the site and equipment.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support emergency response procedures and on-call duties if required.

Qualifications:

• ITI Diploma ( Any Stream) or 12th Pass
• Prior experience in water/wastewater treatment, utilities, or process plant operations is an asset.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pumps, valves, meters.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit; able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license (if required for travel between sites).

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
