Conduct
route surveys
, prepare layout plans, and mark FRL/IL using Auto Level or Total Station.
Execute and monitor
trenching, bedding, pipe laying, jointing, and backfilling
as per approved drawings and standards.
Supervise and ensure quality of
civil structures
such as:

Weirs
and
submerged intake wells
for water abstraction.
OHSR (Overhead Service Reservoirs)
, sumps, pump houses, and valve chambers.

Conduct
quantity estimation, rate analysis, and billing
using approved BOQs.
Coordinate with
electrical, mechanical, and SCADA
teams for integrated system completion.
Prepare
daily progress reports
, maintain QA/QC documentation, and handle client inspections.
Ensure
site safety (OHS)
and compliance with environmental and technical standards.
Participate in
design review and DPR preparation
for water supply schemes.

Skills Required:

In-depth knowledge of
weir construction
,
submerged intake systems
, and
OHSR design/execution
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project
(knowledge of
EPANET / WaterGEMS
preferred)
Familiarity with
IS codes
for water supply structures (IS 3370, IS 456, IS 8329, IS 3589, etc.)
Experience in
surveying, quantity estimation, billing, and quality control
Good
communication, coordination, and leadership
skills for multi-disciplinary projects

Preferred Experience:

Government / ULB / PHED / WRD / Jal Jeevan Mission projects
Experience in
intake wells, weirs, pumping stations, OHSRs, sumps, and long-distance water transmission pipelines
