About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer / Site Supervisor to oversee and manage an

ongoing project in Chennai. This is a critical on-site leadership position responsible for

material management, quality control, workforce coordination, and ensuring seamless project

execution. If you're a detail-oriented professional with a strong track record in construction

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling & Management

• Ensure timely issue and distribution of materials to site operations
• Oversee proper storage, handling, and utilization of materials
• Maintain accurate records of material consumption and wastage control
• Implement strategies to minimize wastage at all work stages

Material Sourcing & Documentation

• Keep detailed logs of all externally sourced materials
• Ensure complete traceability and documentation for procurement
• Maintain transparent records for audit and compliance purposes

Quality Control & Planning

• Monitor on-site work to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
• Prepare realistic work schedules and manage execution timelines
• Conduct quality inspections and report deviations promptly

Workforce Management

• Supervise daily site activities and allocate tasks effectively
• Maintain discipline, productivity, and timely task completion
• Foster a safe, collaborative work environment for all team members

Coordination & Documentation

• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and site documentation
• Liaise effectively with clients, PMC consultants, and head office
• Ensure smooth communication and issue resolution

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all operations comply with company policies and safety norms
• Conduct regular safety audits and address non-compliance issues
• Maintain statutory records and certifications

Reporting

• Provide regular updates to Jaipur Head Office on progress and challenges
• Alert management to any delays, issues, or resource constraints

Required Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years in site supervision, construction management, or civil engineering

project execution

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Required Technical Skills:

• AutoCAD
• MS PowerPoint
• MS Excel
• MS Word

• Strong project and time management abilities

• Leadership experience with site teams and workforce
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to spend 8+ hours daily on-site
• Comfortable working in outdoor construction environments

Residential & Language Requirements

Residency: Candidate must be a resident of Tamil Nadu. Preference will be given to

candidates from Chennai.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in the following languages is required:

• English
• Hindi
• Tamil

Proficiency in these languages is essential for effective communication with site teams,

clients, and head office personnel.
