As a Billing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing client billing, subcontractor billing, measurement, documentation, contract, and BOQ management, as well as coordination and reporting activities. Your responsibilities will include: - Prepare RA (Running Account) bills based on project progress. - Ensure accurate measurement and quantity take-offs in alignment with drawings and work executed. - Validate billing by coordinating with site execution and planning team. - Verify subcontractor invoices by cross-checking against work executed. - Ensure timely submission and processing of subcontractor bills. - Maintain records of measurements following IS code practices. - Review tender documents, contracts, and BOQs. - Support quantity surveying and cost estimation activities. - Keep records of variations and additional work for billing purposes. - Coordinate with project, finance, and procurement teams. - Prepare and present MIS reports, billing status, and receivables. - Ensure compliance with GST and taxation requirements related to billing. Key Qualifications for this role include: - Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction billing procedures. - Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (e.g., ERP, SAP, or Tally). - Attention to detail in quantity estimation and contract terms. - Familiarity with relevant IS codes, CPWD standards, and tax implications. - Good communication and negotiation skills.
