Silicon Packaging Architect

Role Overview: As a Package Architect, you will be responsible for translating product requirements into package architecture specifications. You will drive end-to-end package solutions for physical, electrical, and cost requirements. Your role will involve leading technology tradeoff decisions to ensure silicon packages conform to electrical, mechanical, thermal, and reliability standards. Collaboration with silicon, hardware, and package leads will be essential to ensure high-quality package output and to aid in removing roadblocks. Additionally, you will oversee the entire package development process, including design, processes, and procedures, while continuously improving packaging quality standards and targets. Your expertise in package design troubleshooting will be crucial in resolving new and existing packaging problems, providing innovative and cost-effective solutions. Collaboration with the manufacturing team will also be necessary to ensure a seamless transition of the packaging design and tape-out to production.
