Job Description for- Sales & Application Engineer or Sr. Sales Engineer.(Designation depend on years of exp.) Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication, Instrumentation, A&R. Location: Pune Salary Range: Dependent on the technical interview and years of experience. (Salary no bar for the right candidate.) EX. min 4 to 8. 1. The candidate should be able to manage overall sales related activities. 2. Should have sound knowledge of Siemens products, Automation products like PLC, Drives, AC Drives, DC drives. CNCs, DCS, PCS, Electrical panels & Instrumentation Panels. 3. Should be able tomonitor or do cost & Estimation, Preparation and verification of quotations both technically and commercially. 4. Able to do technical discussion, Development of existing customers. 5. Co-ordination with team, Analysis of competition in the designated area. 6. Visit to customers. Presenting, promoting and selling of products according to company standards and policies 7. Submission of various report as required by management, Proposal of active measures to increase sales, Responsible for Team Turnout as target accepted. 8. Knowledge of panels & Automation products/Switchgear. Responsible for PO Process, Siemens Approval for PO. 9. Excellent communication skill is required & Product Knowledge is required!! 10. Identification of potential new customers. 11. Ensures the realization of monthly, quarterly and annual sales plan. 13. Close Co-ordination with Customer, Vendors and Internal other departments like dispatch, projects and production for smooth operations. 14. As a Product Portfolio Management Professional, the key responsibility would be to lead the portfolio of defined Rolling Stock Propulsion components, products/ solutions and/or service elements, in line with the given business strategy. As a Product Portfolio Management Professional, youll have following Key Responsibilities: Develops the product, solution and/or service strategy and suggests a long-term roadmap for the lifecycle of the assigned Product, Solution and/or service portfolio, which ensures their commercial success. Constantly observes relevant markets (competitor activities, portfolio gaps, demand and supply conditions, standards, and regulations within target markets, etc.) Builds analyses and decision proposals for Product & Portfolio Management Head. Develop a balanced strategy and business plan. Responsible for driving sales and accountable for set commercial targets and implementation of various business initiatives based on market trends. Analyzes and evaluates markets and needs of potential or existing customers. Prepares customer developmental plans, builds, and maintains an ecosystem. Be able to provide consultation to customers about the standard methodologies and benchmark approaches to present Siemens as a proficient partner.
