Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Regional Business Head at Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Vijayawada. Duties & Responsibilities: Revenue Growth: Lead regional sales strategies and identify new business opportunities. Drive revenue growth through integrated media campaigns, aligned with local market needs and seasonal demand patterns. P&L Ownership: Manage the P&L of all revenue-generating projects in the region. Ensure profitability through strategic acquisitions, client retention, and efficient operations. Analyze regional trends and campaign performance for better financial forecasting and planning. Sales Leadership: Define and implement clear sales targets for the region. Inspire, manage, and upskill a high-performing team. Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and excellence in execution. Client Acquisition & Retention: Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and strategic partners. Tailor media and campaign solutions to fit each client’s advertising objectives and industry-specific goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including Production, Creative, Marketing, and Strategy. Co-develop and pitch 360° campaign solutions that are relevant, timely, and tailored to regional markets. Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and grow long-term partnerships with leading clients, advertisers, and media agencies. Offer solutions aligned with client compliance, brand positioning, and ROI expectations. Analytical & Industry Expertise: Utilize industry data, client behavior, media consumption patterns, and campaign analytics to refine business strategies. Translate insights into actionable plans for client acquisition, retention, and product development. Local Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of city-specific consumer behavior, brand visibility needs, and advertising opportunities. Create regionally optimized media plans for maximum campaign effectiveness. Requirements: - MBA or Post Graduate in Marketing, Media, or Business Management. - 8–10 years of experience in senior sales or business leadership roles, preferably in the Radio, Print, or broader Media & Entertainment industry. - Preferred locations for this role include Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and cities in Andhra Pradesh. - Proven experience in managing regional operations and P&L ownership. - Strong acumen in handling corporate accounts and delivering high-value media solutions. - Prior exposure to media buying, brand activation, campaign planning, and strategic sales. - Experience in leading and mentoring cross-functional teams across diverse geographies. - Ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers in agencies and client organizations. - Willingness to travel extensively within and across assigned territories. - A growth-oriented mindset with a focus on sales through marketing innovations. - Deep understanding of regional media markets, especially in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. Your Goals Owning and driving a sponsorship sales/revenue target for the company across all its verticals i.e Movie Events, Fashion shows, Concerts, Artist Tours and IPs Building data & intelligence to better understand the market - categories that are spending, categories that are activation focused, upcoming brand launches/re-launches, budget planning timelines across marketer Maintaining relationships and contacts across brand categories with key account holders within each brand Create and develop assets for sponsorship starting with a tier-wise marketing stack and base sponsorship deck for every IP/event being explored by the live entertainment team Brand-wise ideation and preparing sponsor offerings with the brand solution team Identifying potential strategic partners for IP’s across categories and collate this into pitch lists. Understand the sales cycle, decision makers and influencers in the process (both at the client & agency end) and take a solution-oriented approach to address brand objectives via the event An appreciation of brands - their marketing needs, activation platforms, their valuation metrics/criteria. Ability to understand media assets available, their values to value and pitch a deal Your SkillSet Energetic, young, self starter who has proven credentials in sales - preferably sponsorship of IP’s/Events, TV properties or Media sales. Have deep networks and access to clients within the marketing and agency world. He/she would need to share tangible examples of these networks, pitches made and deals successfully closed! Collaborate with a cross-functional team — including the IP lead and team, Brand Solutions, Servicing, and Operations — within Shreyas Group, as well as external stakeholders, to equip yourself with all the necessary resources to deliver a strong pitch, maximize deliverables, and successfully close the deal. Will have to operate independently and have a start-up/sleeves rolled up mindset and attitude. Your Experience & Qualifications 6-7 years experience would be preferred but will not be a disqualifier should the candidate have a proven track in sales as stated above.
