Job Description

Position:** Metal Machining Costing Engineer **Eligibility Criteria:** - **Years of Experience:** 6-10 years Educational Qualification:** Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 8+ years of experience or Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Tool & Die making with 6-10years of experience **Primary Responsibilities:** - Estimate the manufacturing cost of machined metal parts - Estimate parts assembly cost - Recommend cost-effective solutions for designs - Prioritize internal tasks, plan, coordinate, and execute day-to-day activities - Collaborate with suppliers and OEM manufacturers for task execution - Propose enhancements to current processes - Analyze supplier-provided costs and suggest cost-reduction strategies **Mandatory Skills:** - Parts manufacturing and shop floor experience (Machined parts) - Strong exposure to pre and post parts fabrication processes (Heat treatment, Coating, etc.) - Knowledge of estimating the cost of Machined Metal parts - Proficiency in dealing with Limit, Fit, and Tolerances, GD&T, Metrology - Familiarity with MS Office tools (Excel) - Excellent communication and analytical skills **Desirable Skills- - Exposure to Costing techniques - Knowledge of Complex Bill of Material Management (BoM) - Experience in SCM/Procurement - Familiarity with PLM - Proficiency in CAD (Creo/Nx) - Background in semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry - Understanding of DFx - Knowledge of MS Office Looking for Immediate joiners to 30days of notice period.
