Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Shopify theme development, customizations, app development, and modern headless commerce architectures. You will play a key role in delivering high-performance, visually rich, and conversion-optimized Shopify storefronts. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Implement UI/UX changes and interactive elements based on design mockups. Build and integrate custom Shopify apps using Node.js, React, or other relevant technologies. Set up and maintain headless Shopify architectures using Storefront API, Hydrogen, or other JAMstack frameworks. Troubleshoot and resolve performance, UI/UX, and integration issues. Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and marketing teams to align on eCommerce goals. Ensure responsive, accessible, and optimized web experiences across all browsers and devices. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, shipping, and fulfillment services as required. Stay updated with the latest Shopify updates, headless commerce trends, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language and theme development. Experience with Shopify CLI , Git, and front-end tooling. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery . Experience building or customizing Shopify Apps (embedded or custom). Knowledge of Shopify APIs , Webhooks, and the Storefront API. Hands-on experience with headless Shopify implementations (e.g., using React, Next.js, or Hydrogen). Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs. Understanding of eCommerce SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility standards. Good to Have Experience with other eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce) Experience with Hydrogen or Gatsby/Next.js for headless builds Familiarity with PWA concepts and JAMstack architectures Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
