Shopify Developer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive Shopify ecommerce stores. This includes customizing existing Shopify themes or creating new themes based on business requirements. Additionally, you will need to optimize website performance, speed, and scalability. Collaboration with UI/UX designers is essential to ensure a seamless customer experience. Your role will also involve developing and maintaining reusable code, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting marketing teams with promotions, discount codes, SEO optimization, and analytics integration. It is crucial to stay updated with the latest Shopify updates, apps, and industry trends. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain responsive Shopify ecommerce stores. - Customize existing Shopify themes or create new themes as per business requirements. - Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless customer experience. - Develop and maintain reusable code and ensure best practices in development. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, or integration challenges. - Support marketing teams with promotions, discount codes, SEO optimization, and analytics integration. - Stay updated with the latest Shopify updates, apps, and industry trends. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience in Shopify development (3+ years preferred). - Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX. - Experience in REST & GraphQL APIs, third-party app integrations, and custom app development. - Understanding of ecommerce best practices, UI/UX design, and responsive development. - Knowledge of SEO principles and web performance optimization. - Experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket). - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good to Have: - Experience with Headless Shopify, React, Vue.js, or Node.js. - Knowledge of Shopify Plus and advanced ecommerce features. - Familiarity with ERP/CRM integrations.
