Job Description

Education: Diploma in Mechanical/Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering

Key Responsibilities

TOC Related

Follow TOC task priorities and ensuring timely task updation and escalate challenges appropriately.

System Related :

Ensure correct booking of man-days on daily basis.
Project update on system
Make Inspection entries for inspection and coordinate for the same.
Make entries for maintenance, MTR and coordinate for the same.
Report accidents or dangerous occurrences during the same shift.

Operational Activities

Conducting of TBT (Tool Box Talk) and BBS (Behavior based safety) rounds in respective shift
Study drawings, Process sheets, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) procedures, ATP (Acceptance Test protocols).
Take charge from previous shift supervisor and distribute work as per plan.
Record workmen attendance and manage leave, overtime, and shift changes.
Ensure usage of calibrated machines and tools.
Ensure PPE compliance for self and workmen.
Monitor workstations for quality and progress; provide feedback to workmen.
Manage Full-kit and ensure Turn-around of integration activity in stipulated time.
Prepare shift plan for next shift and maintain logbook communication.
Ensure housekeeping, discipline, and safety compliance in shop.
Plan and approve workmen leave applications.
Communicate milestone dates and ensure achievement.
Participate in appraisal of workmen and scheduled training programs.
Identify training needs.
Monitor departmental process parameters monthly.
Supervise subcontractor work within shop.
Coordinate scrap removal and daily cleaning activities along with preservation of critical assembly.
Plan & Coordination for holiday work.
Troubleshoot issues in integration area.
