Shoe Designer / Pattern Cutter

As a Women's Shoe Designer & Pattern Cutter at Ticomp Heels Pvt Ltd., you will have the exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in both innovative footwear design and precise pattern cutting. Your role will involve aligning designs with market trends, creating accurate patterns, and ensuring high-quality final products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop original women's shoe designs such as flats, heels, boots, and sandals in line with brand identity and market trends. - Generate accurate 2D patterns using hand-drawing and CAD software for various shoe components. - Collaborate with sample makers to refine prototypes based on fit, comfort, and aesthetic evaluations. - Advise on material selection, considering design intent and manufacturability. - Provide technical specifications and pattern corrections to manufacturers for accurate production. - Conduct trend analysis to inform design and pattern development. - Oversee quality control of patterns and prototypes, making necessary adjustments to maintain high standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience in women's footwear design and pattern cutting. - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Adobe Illustrator) and traditional pattern-making techniques. - Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills. - Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with designers, sample makers, and manufacturers. Preferred Qualifications: - Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or a related field. - Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software. - Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
