Shoe Designer (Freelance)

As a Freelance FlatShoe Designer for Ticomp Heels Pvt Ltd. based in Lucknow, your role will involve conceptualizing and creating original flat shoe designs tailored for summer wear, including loafers, espadrilles, sandals, and ballet flats. You will be responsible for conducting thorough fashion and trend research specific to seasonal flat footwear, producing detailed 2D sketches and technical drawings, and selecting appropriate materials with a focus on summer suitability. Additionally, you will prepare production-ready tech packs, collaborate with manufacturers on samples and prototypes, refine designs based on market insights, and ensure timely project delivery within budget constraints. Key Responsibilities: - Conceive and develop original flat shoe designs for summer wear - Conduct fashion and trend research for seasonal flat footwear - Create detailed 2D sketches and technical drawings with multiple views - Select suitable materials with a focus on summer appropriateness - Prepare production-ready tech packs and spec sheets - Collaborate with manufacturers on samples, fittings, and prototyping - Refine designs based on market, user, and practical insights - Provide direction on color, texture, and trim aligned with brand aesthetics - Track project milestones to ensure on-time delivery within budget Qualifications & Skills: - Graduate of NIFT (Accessory Design / Footwear specialization preferred) - Proven experience designing flat summer shoes, either freelancing or in a brand setting - Strong portfolio showcasing summer flats with clear illustrations and technical specs - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and CAD tools used in shoe design - Solid knowledge of footwear production, materials, and manufacturing processes - Excellent visualization, sketching, and attention to ergonomic detail - Effective communication and collaboration skills with remote or cross-functional teams - Strong time management abilities to handle multiple design projects concurrently In this role, Ticomp Heels Pvt Ltd. is looking for a NIFT graduate with a strong focus on accessories or footwear, along with demonstrable experience in designing summer-flat styles with trend-driven elements.
