Role & responsibilities Job Description: The Assistant Field Marketing Activation Manager, South India (Hyderabad Based) will be responsible for elevating the presence of Gangaa Pickles across retail outlets, online platforms, and community touchpoints by generating innovative, content-driven campaigns and nurturing strong partnerships. This role focuses on regional growth through influencer collaboration, cultural events, and storytelling that connects deeply with local audiences. Key Responsibilities: Brand Storytelling & Activation Bring the stories behind Gangaa Pickles to life across digital and physical platforms. Develop engaging content that celebrates traditional recipes, local ingredients, and the family heritage of Gangaa Pickles. Identify and promote hero products (e.g., Chicken, Mutton, Prawns Pickle) as flagship SKUs for brand visibility. Social Media & Community Engagement Create and amplify content across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facebook. Collaborate with influencers, food bloggers, and local celebrities for authentic storytelling and product sampling. Organize pickle tasting events, cooking demos, or community stalls at local markets and food festivals. Training & Internal Engagement Train field sales and marketing teams on brand messaging, campaign tools, and digital engagement. Conduct regular digital sessions with distributors and partners to align marketing efforts. Partnerships & Collaborations Build local partnerships aligned with the brands core values including food, culture, heritage, and wellness. Collaborate with restaurants, online grocery platforms, chefs, and local artisans. Campaign & Events Planning Support in developing a calendar of local and regional marketing campaigns. Lead planning for major cultural events, new product launches, influencer trips, or local press events. Liaise with tourism boards, food expos, and regional festivals to ensure brand presence. Retail & Outlet Visibility Maximize product placement and visibility at kirana stores, supermarkets, and experience stalls. Launch branding activations at high-traffic retail outlets, dhabas, and college canteens. Analytics & Reporting Report on KPIs including media clippings, influencer reach, social engagement, sampling conversions, and customer feedback. Share learnings and content from activations with the wider Gangaa Pickles community. Preferred candidate profile Preferred Candidate Profile CriteriaDetailsEducation Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Technology, or related field. MBA/PGDM is an advantage. Experience 36 years of experience in FMCG, food/beverage, or regional BTL marketing roles. Prior experience with field activations or grassroots marketing preferred. Industry Exposure FMCG (especially pickles, snacks, spices), Retail Food Brands, Agribusiness, or Hospitality. Geographical Knowledge Strong understanding of South Indian markets, especially Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka . Language Proficiency Fluency in English and Telugu is mandatory. Knowledge of Tamil, Kannada, or Hindi is a strong plus. Technical Skills Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Meta Business Suite, and WhatsApp Marketing Tools. Personal Attributes Energetic, street-smart, culturally aware, and highly self-driven. Must be comfortable with frequent travel and field work. Communication Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and frontline teams. Creative Aptitude Ability to think innovatively for local brand promotions, content ideas, and influencer tie-ups. Work Ethic Must be dependable, deadline-driven, and performance-oriented with strong attention to detail. Travel Readiness Willingness to travel frequently across South India for retail activations, festivals, and market visits .
