Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for computer classes that are in accordance with the CBSE curriculum for primary, middle, and secondary levels. Instruct students on the fundamentals of computer science, including hardware, software, networking, and internet safety. Teach various programming languages and software applications relevant to the school curriculum, such as Python, Java, Scratch, and MS Office Suite. Foster a positive and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation and inquiry. Assess and evaluate students' progress through regular assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback. Manage and maintain the school's computer laboratories, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate technology effectively into different subject areas and school projects. Organize and supervise co-curricular activities related to computer science, such as coding clubs, workshops, and competitions. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in educational technology and computer science. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress in the subject. Qualifications and Skills: Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications (BCA/MCA), or a related field. A B.Ed. degree is highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience as a computer teacher in a CBSE-affiliated school is preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++. Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL).
