Overview: We are looking for a skilled and driven Full Stack Developer with 23 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills using Java and Spring Boot, a solid understanding of microservices architecture, and experience working with databases, distributed messaging systems, and cloud-based deployments on AWS. Key Responsibilities: Develop robust and scalable backend systems and microservices using Java (Spring Boot). Design and manage relational and time-series data using PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB. Build event-driven systems leveraging Kafka for real-time data processing and messaging. Work closely with DevOps to deploy and manage services using AWS tools such as ECS, EKS, API Gateway, and Secrets Manager. Ensure high-quality code through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Participate in code reviews and contribute to key architectural decisions. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across development and production environments. Requirements: Must-Have: 23 years of hands-on experience in Java development, specifically using Spring Boot and microservices. Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL; familiarity with TimescaleDB is a plus. Experience with Kafka or similar distributed messaging platforms. Exposure to AWS services including ECS, EKS, API Gateway, and Secrets Manager. Understanding of RESTful APIs and modern API development practices. Proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Good to Have: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack. Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.
