Java Developer

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and driven Full Stack Developer with 23 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills using Java and Spring Boot, a solid understanding of microservices architecture, and experience working with databases, distributed messaging systems, and cloud-based deployments on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust and scalable backend systems and microservices using Java (Spring Boot).
• Design and manage relational and time-series data using PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB.
• Build event-driven systems leveraging Kafka for real-time data processing and messaging.
• Work closely with DevOps to deploy and manage services using AWS tools such as ECS, EKS, API Gateway, and Secrets Manager.
• Ensure high-quality code through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to key architectural decisions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across development and production environments.

Requirements:

• 23 years of hands-on experience in Java development, specifically using Spring Boot and microservices.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL; familiarity with TimescaleDB is a plus.
• Experience with Kafka or similar distributed messaging platforms.
• Exposure to AWS services including ECS, EKS, API Gateway, and Secrets Manager.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and modern API development practices.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.

• UG: Any Graduate
• PG: Any Postgraduate
