Shift Superintendent Electrical

Role Overview: As a Shift Superintendent - Electrical at the company, your main responsibility will be to deploy maintenance practices for all Extra high voltage systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation for GIS systems and EHV cable connectivity. You will also be coordinating with power generating plants and grid authorities to ensure the smooth operation of the Power Distribution system. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct day-to-day activities in compliance with relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures - Stay updated with leading practices and trends to contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and procedures - Develop test procedures and formats, standardize and implement best practices for electrical equipment improvement - Prepare documentation for compliance audit and ensure adherence to statutory, CSM, and HSE compliance - Maintain repair and test records, MIS, and reporting documents related to electrical equipment maintenance Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology (Electrical stream) or a Master's degree in Engineering/ Technology (Electrical stream) preferred - 8-16 years of experience for a degree in Power Plant/ Electrical Substation Additional Company Details: The company values the following success metrics for this role: - Time to resolution - Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) - Reduction in unplanned shutdowns - Shutdown turn around time/ Mean time between failures - Reduction in the number of safety incidents You will be working closely with internal departments such as Human Resource, Administration, Workshop, Planning, and Security, as well as external stakeholders including vendors and equipment manufacturers.,
