Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot DCS, PLC, and ESD systems.
  • Maintain and monitor Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD).
  • Optimize control system performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise installation, calibration, and testing of instrumentation.
  • Troubleshoot communication protocols (HART, Modbus, Profibus).
  • Lead instrumentation commissioning and fault diagnosis.
  • Apply electrical/electronic principles for fault rectification.
  • Coordinate instrumentation projects and enforce safety standards.
  • Integrate new systems with existing architecture.
  • Maintain documentation and inventory reports.
  • Conduct on-the-job training (OJT).
  • Execute Management of Change (MOC) processes.
  • Operate and maintain field instruments (flow meters, transmitters, gauges).
  • Use ERP/SAP for work order tracking and reporting.
  • Implement 5S practices in instrumentation areas.
