Shift Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• ** Breakdown & Repair:** Quickly identify and fix electrical faults in machinery, control systems (PLCs, drives), and infrastructure.
• ** Preventative Maintenance:** Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance to prevent failures and minimize downtime.
• ** Installation & Commissioning:** Install, commission, and upgrade new electrical equipment, wiring, and control systems.
• ** Safety & Compliance:** Uphold strict safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards, potentially working in hazardous conditions.
• ** Support & Coordination:** Liaise with operations, other departments, and sometimes contractors; support project work.
• ** Documentation:** Complete work orders, log activities, and maintain records.
• ** Mentorship:** Train and guide apprentices or junior electricians.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Relevant electrical trade qualification (e.g., Dual Instrument/Electrical Trade).
• Valid electrical license.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA, and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) is often essential.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and fault-finding abilities.
• Ability to work independently, in a team, and under pressure.
• Flexibility for rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment:

• Industrial, manufacturing, or plant settings (e.g., factories, power stations).
• Requires working at heights, in confined spaces, and with hazardous materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
