As a Business Development Specialist , you'll be at the forefront of expanding our presence in OT/ICS cybersecurity, driving growth across sectors like energy, oil & gas, transportation, and manufacturing. This role is about creating and nurturing strategic opportunities, building trusted relationships with decision-makers, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships. Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with industrial operators, asset owners, and system integrators. Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, plant managers, and security leaders. Develop account strategies and execute go-to-market plans in collaboration with sales and marketing teams. Lead presentations, product demos, and negotiations that clearly communicate Shieldworkz's value proposition. Work cross-functionally with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer needs. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market signals to refine sales strategies. Represent Shieldworkz at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings. Qualifications 36 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in cybersecurity, OT/ICS, industrial automation, or critical infrastructure. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and closing enterprise-level deals. Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, account management, and procurement processes. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for both technical and executive audiences. Familiarity with ICS protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, etc.) and cybersecurity standards (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST CSF) is a strong plus. Proficiency with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo). Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a fast-growing cybersecurity company.
