As a SF Dev - Release Manager at NTT DATA in Pune, Maharashtra (IN-MH), India, you will play a crucial role in managing the release pipeline for the Salesforce environment. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with development, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of changes with minimal disruption. You will be the owner of CI/CD pipelines, release calendar, sandbox management, and automation using AutoRABIT. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and maintain release schedules and pipelines for Salesforce changes. - Configure and manage AutoRABIT jobs including deployments, version control integration, and rollback procedures. - Oversee Salesforce environments by refreshing sandboxes, managing metadata migrations, and maintaining org consistency. - Collaborate with development and admin teams on branching and merging strategies, tracking merges, and resolving conflicts. - Monitor deployment metrics, generate reports on release health, failure rates, and cycle times. - Facilitate automated testing, conduct static code analysis, and ensure compliance with quality gates. - Document release notes, maintain audit logs, rollback plans, and change history. - Identify and implement enhancements to the release process and tooling. **Qualifications:** - Minimum 4 years of experience working with the Salesforce platform involving configurations, metadata, and code. - Hands-on experience with AutoRABIT (or equivalent) for Salesforce CI/CD and release automation. - Proficiency in Git or other version control systems, branching, and merging. - Strong grasp of CI/CD best practices, automated testing, rollback procedures, and risk mitigation. - Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with stakeholders effectively. **Desirable Skills:** - Experience with Salesforce DX. - Previous involvement in large or global Salesforce organizations with multiple sandboxes and integrations. - Familiarity with tools like Copado and Gearset.
