Role & responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Working closely with the Indian HQ sales teams to understand the customers requirements and applications, and translate the requirements into optimum solution proposals 2. Preparation of system configurations. For multiple solutions proposal, to be able to compare the various advantages of each of the different proposals in terms of technical and economical aspects 3. Having understood the cost, import duty and currency structures of the various countries such as India, Srilanka. Middle East and Africa, to prepare payback analysis for the customers investment in Product Inspection equipment and automatic sorting systems 4. Achieving Sales Target and Business Development quarterly and yearly basis 5. Opportunities to work with our colleagues in Germany head office as well as other subsidiaries for the confirmation and refinement of the proposals 6. Preparation of techno-commercial proposals to satisfy the customers requirements on system proposals 7. Planning the sales and Marketing strategies for the product group and regions 8. To understand the complete process flow of each of the application so as to provide solution and consultancy to the customers on upstream and downstream processes when required 9. Ensuring timely Payment receipt from the customers and documentation follow up 10. Role & responsibilities : Carry out the installations, commissioning and attending the service calls and technical support. Should have knowledge about Electrical & Pneumatic drawings & specifications, VFD Programming, Sensors, Card system replacement, Instrumentation selections, Estimation, Application development, FAT, Installation & commissioning, Preparation of Internal test Reports, Circuit diagrams & drawings & commissioning reports, remote support to the machines. Responsible for collection of service payments from customers Completing the service documentation, manuals and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and requirements. The ideal candidate will act as a vital link between the customer, the sales team, and internal departments, ensuring smooth coordination, timely follow-ups, accurate documentation, and exceptional customer service for industrial equipment solutions. Pre-Sales Support Generating leads and concrete enquiries. Respond to inquiries from potential customers via email, phone, or online platforms. Qualify leads and maintain an accurate lead tracking system (CRM). Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with the technical and engineering teams as well as German Principals. Schedule product demos, presentations, and coordinate with field sales engineers. Maintain and update product knowledge, documentation, and catalogues. Prepare and share customer-specific presentations, product comparisons, and compliance checklists. Post-Sales Support 1. Working closely with the Indian regional sales teams to understand the customers spare parts requirements and applications, and collecting the data. Coordinate with internal departments (production, logistics, service) to ensure on-time delivery and installation. 2. Preparation of Spare Parts proposals in terms of technical and economic aspects 3. preparing weekly, Monthly and quarterly report on Spare Parts Business development and trend analysis. 4. To understand the complete process flow of each of the application fields we operate in so as to provide advice and consultancy to the customers on upstream and downstream processes when required 6. May be required to attend meetings with the customers together with the regional sales team members Preferred candidate profile : Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as basic sales Process Knowledge. Good understanding of sales processes and industrial B2B sales cycles. Excellent coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills. Ability to read technical specifications and interpret product features. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM tools, and ERP systems.
