As an office assistant, your primary responsibility will be to regulate visitors to the directors/chairman and serve refreshments. You will also play a key role in maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the office, ensuring that all areas are tidy and clean. The ideal candidate for this position should be around 30 years old. Your key responsibilities will include: Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the office, restrooms, and common areas tidy and clean. Serving Refreshments: Preparing and serving tea, coffee, and other beverages to staff and visitors. Running Errands: Delivering messages, picking up supplies, and performing other errands as needed. Assisting with Administrative Tasks: Helping with tasks like photocopying, filing, and scanning documents. Maintaining Office Supplies: Monitoring and replenishing stationery, kitchen supplies, and other materials. Basic Housekeeping: Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping. Assisting with Meeting Room Setup: Arranging furniture, equipment, and refreshments before meetings. Greeting Visitors: Welcoming and directing visitors. Handling Electronic Files and Papers: Assisting with basic file management. Monitoring Equipment Usage: Keeping track of equipment and supply usage. Safety: Following safety procedures in all housekeeping tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. You must be able to reliably commute to Chennai, Tamil Nadu, or be willing to relocate before starting work. The preferred education qualification for this role is Higher Secondary (12th Pass). Additionally, having 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office and a total work experience of 1 year is preferred.
