Role: Servicenow Test Engineer

Exp: 6 to 9 Years

Location: Pune (Kharadi) & Bangalore (Manyata Tech Park, Nagawara)

Work Mode: Hybrid (2 Days Office & 3 Days WFH)

Position Overview

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for ServiceNow applications using tools such as Selenium, ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand product requirements and create detailed test cases for automation.
• Perform manual testing when necessary to gain insights into application workflows and processes, translating them into automated test scripts.
• Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate the status of testing efforts to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation best practices within the ServiceNow environment.
• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the testing process.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues found during automated testing, working closely with developers to resolve them.
• Maintain test environments and test data to ensure consistency and reliability of automated tests.
• Document test cases, test results, and automation processes for future reference and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to enhance test automation frameworks and contribute to ongoing improvements in testing methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in ServiceNow testing tools and techniques.

Qualifications

• Strong educational background with a degree in IT or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with ServiceNow platform and understanding of its modules and functionalities.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools for defect management, such as JIRA or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams will be an advantage.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation level or equivalent certification is preferred
