ServiceNow ITOM Developer

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a vital role in analyzing business requirements, designing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to ensuring successful delivery of ServiceNow applications and modules that meet the organization's needs. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will design and develop ServiceNow applications while adhering to best practices and industry standards. Customizing workflows, forms, fields, scripts, and other components will be part of your routine tasks. Additionally, you will configure ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules, such as discovery, Service Mapping, event management, and CMDB, ensuring accurate configuration data within the CMDB. Monitoring infrastructure events, alerts, and incidents using ServiceNow Event Management will also be a crucial aspect of your role. Integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications, developing and maintaining integrations, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions will be part of your daily activities. You will be responsible for conducting unit testing, participating in quality assurance activities, and maintaining technical documentation. Providing ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, troubleshooting issues, and training end-users and support teams on new features and functionality will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and have proven experience as a ServiceNow developer. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web technologies, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
