Service Transition Project Manager

As an experienced Service Transition Project Manager at our company, your role will involve providing support to our client's team in managing and delivering various projects across departments and functions. Your primary focus will be ensuring successful Transition and Service Introduction. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving successful delivery of Transition projects across a practice, through proactive management of dependencies, issues, and risks to achieve business objectives. - Leading the coordination and effective delivery of well-controlled and governed service introduction and service management in line with best practices and strategic objectives. - Ensuring delivery consistency with the agreed model and standards. - Managing Acceptance into Service and Go Live decisions, documenting service risks, and engaging 3rd Party Suppliers optimally. - Managing escalations to avoid impacts on overall delivery and acting as the main point of contact for suppliers and key stakeholders. - Providing estimated support costs for new products or services and ensuring final delivery meets customer and stakeholder requirements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Background in operational IT Service and a passion for protecting Production services via an agreed service design framework. - Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies. - Experience in a complex and fast-paced environment. - Ability to build strong relationships with 3rd party suppliers and key stakeholders. - Self-starter who is well-organized and can effectively manage workload. - PMP certification and ITIL certifications.,
