Job Description

As the Network and Firewall Operations & Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing strategies aligned with business and IT objectives. You will oversee the administration, configuration, and optimization of network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, cloud networking, and LAN/WAN architectures. Your expertise in Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls will be crucial for implementing Zero Trust security models and ensuring compliance with security standards. Your deep understanding of Cisco, Meraki Wired & Wireless LAN, Cisco ACI, and DNAC solutions will be essential for managing and optimizing Forescout NAC solutions. Additionally, you will support and integrate cloud-based networking solutions with on-premises infrastructure to ensure seamless operations. Designing and maintaining redundant network architectures for high availability and disaster recovery will be part of your responsibilities. You will also play a key role in implementing network security controls, vulnerability management, and ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance standards. Incorporating automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform, and utilizing monitoring tools for proactive issue resolution will be integral to your role. You will lead the resolution of network and firewall-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements to optimize network performance, bandwidth utilization, and traffic engineering. Your collaboration with security teams, application teams, cloud architects, and business leaders will be crucial for stakeholder management. Evaluating and managing relationships with network hardware/software vendors and service providers will also be part of your responsibilities. Implementing ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management, as well as optimizing network infrastructure costs while maintaining security and reliability, will be key focus areas of your role. Skills required for this position include expertise in Palo Alto, Forescout, switching, and routing.,
