Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. They are responsible for understanding customer needs, coordinating repair and maintenance services, ensuring quality communication between technicians and clients, and delivering a positive service experience that builds customer loyalty.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Greet customers courteously and identify their service needs or concerns.
  • Open job cards and record customer complaints and vehicle/service details accurately.
  • Provide service estimates, explain repair work, and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure timely and accurate job execution.
  • Keep customers informed on job progress, additional repairs, costs, and completion timelines.
  • Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of service orders, invoices, and payments.
  • Promote preventive maintenance and service packages to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, company, and manufacturer policies.
