We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Quarry and Stone Crusher Manager to oversee all operations at our quarry located near Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quarry management, with a proven track record of optimizing production, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Direct and oversee all aspects of quarry operations, including drilling, blasting, extraction, crushing, screening, and transportation of materials. Develop and implement efficient production plans to meet production targets while ensuring quality standards are maintained. Monitor and optimize quarry performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Resource Management: Manage quarry resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize disruptions to operations. Procure necessary materials and services in a cost-effective manner, adhering to budgetary constraints. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. Implement and maintain effective safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace accidents and hazards. Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among quarry staff and contractors. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and motivate quarry staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and support to achieve operational goals. Foster a positive work environment built on trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Identify training needs and opportunities for skills development among team members. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide regular updates on quarry operations, performance, and challenges. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory authorities, local communities, and contractors, to maintain positive relationships and address any concerns or issues.
