Senior/Lead Data Engineer

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end data solutions, data pipelines, and ETL processes. With your 10+ years of experience in data engineering and data architecture, you will leverage your strong knowledge of data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Dbt, Fivetran, and Azure Data Factory. Your expertise in Python and SQL will be crucial in ensuring the success of various data projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop end-to-end data solutions, data pipelines, and ETL processes - Utilize data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Dbt, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory - Ensure data governance, data quality, and data security principles are maintained - Collaborate with teams in Agile environments to manage projects effectively - Engage in pre-sales activities, scoping and estimation of projects, and presenting solutions to clients - Manage complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects - Develop software using agile methodologies and work with globally distributed teams - Provide technical leadership and build strong client relationships Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field - 10+ years of experience in data engineering and data architecture - Strong expertise in Python and SQL - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and leadership skills - Experience working in Agile environments - Proven track record of technical leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes Additionally, you must be open to travel and possess excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical staff.,
