Depending on your experience and skill set, your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Website Design and Development:
- Design and develop responsive, visually appealing websites and landing pages.
- Customize and manage WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Create website layouts and user interfaces following standard HTML/CSS practices.
- Implement best practices for SEO, accessibility, and user experience.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile optimization.
- Optimize website performance, including speed and responsiveness.

Content Management Systems (CMS):
- Work extensively with WordPress, including theme customization and plugin management.
- Maintain and update existing WordPress sites, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and integrations (e.g., WooCommerce).

User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and provide design solutions.
- Translate user needs into wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve the user experience.

Graphic Design:
- Create visual elements such as logos, icons, and images that enhance design and user experience.
- Utilize graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD.

Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Test websites for functionality, responsiveness, and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Identify and resolve any technical issues or bugs.

Collaboration and Project Management:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, content creators, and marketing specialists.
- Participate in project planning, timelines, and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project success.

Stay Updated with Industry Trends:
- Keep abreast of the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Propose and implement innovative design solutions.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Implement best practices for accessibility to ensure inclusive design.
- Experience with website migration and server management is a plus.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery for advanced functionality.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or similar design tools.
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress, including theme customization, plugin management, and basic coding (HTML, CSS, PHP).
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and integrations (e.g., WooCommerce).
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and best practices.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and usability.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in web design or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
