Senior Web Designer

As a Web Designer at our fast-growing, international organization, you will be entrusted with the crucial task of redesigning and maintaining our corporate website. Your role will involve the transformation of our website into a modern, user-friendly platform that resonates with our brand identity and business objectives. We are seeking a candidate who possesses a unique blend of design expertise, technical acumen, and meticulous attention to detail. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our dedicated Web team to revamp our corporate website, crafting a visually captivating and user-centric design that elevates the overall user experience and stays true to our brand identity. Furthermore, you will work alongside content creators and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate content onto the website while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and presenting it in a high-quality manner. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that the website is fully responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes, thus delivering a seamless user experience across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. By leveraging web analytics tools, you will monitor site performance and user behavior to implement data-driven improvements effectively. Moreover, your role will entail collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and product management, to ensure that the website design aligns with broader business objectives and project requirements. It is essential to stay abreast of the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices to consistently enhance the website and user experience. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in web design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of at least 5 years in web design, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing your design and development skills. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and web development tools like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and JavaScript is crucial. Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms is highly desired. An in-depth understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and SEO best practices is essential, along with a keen eye for visual and typographical composition. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment are key attributes we are looking for in the ideal candidate. Additionally, agility in a high-pressure environment, proactive task-driven approach, and a positive attitude are valued traits for this role. While not mandatory, skills in video editing/motion graphics, user research experience, familiarity with inbound and demand generation marketing concepts, and proficiency in Spanish or any other language would be advantageous.
