Job Description

As a Wastewater Modelling Lead at Arcadis, your role will involve leading the development of wastewater models, managing key project aspects, and collaborating with clients to expand Arcadis's project portfolio. Your responsibilities will include: - Delivering a range of wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure modelling projects of various scales - Conducting technical reviews of wastewater models, overseeing model build and verification, and developing strategic solutions to mitigate flooding and reduce CSO spills - Providing support to designers at concept outline and detailed design stages - Reviewing and enhancing technical reports and presentations to uphold high-quality standards - Resolving technical modelling challenges on projects and contributing to advancing the team's technical expertise - Ensuring project components comply with relevant standards and requirements - Collaborating closely with clients, providing clear explanations and supporting junior team members - Assisting with bid preparation and coordinating project elements for successful delivery - Working alongside specialists from other disciplines to ensure project integrity - Fostering a collaborative work environment and supporting the professional development of yourself and your team Qualifications & Experience: - 7-12 years of experience with a Masters in Water Resources Management/Environment/Civil Engineering or Equivalent - Advanced expertise in hydraulic modelling for wastewater projects - Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and relevant GIS software packages - Chartered member of a relevant professional institution - Proven experience in model quality assurance procedures and strong report-writing skills - Advanced abilities in spreadsheet-based data analysis, with coding experience desirable At Arcadis, you will have the opportunity to empower yourself and others to be their best, contribute to delivering sustainable solutions, and create a lasting legacy.
